Ingredients

  • 400 g boiled potatoes
  • 140 g drained tinned chickpeas
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

Add 400 g cooked and cooled potato cubes into a large bowl. Mash the potatoes. Add 140 g drained cooked chickpeas. Season with ½ tsp ground cumin, ½ tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garam masala and ½ tsp salt. Mix well. Shape 8 potato cakes. Heat up 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan. Fry the potato cakes for 2 minutes on each side.
