Ingredients

  • 220 g dark chocolate
  • 150 ml canned coconut milk
  • 2 teabags Earl Grey tea
  • 1 strip of orange peel
  • dark cocoa powder, chopped hazelnuts and biscuit crumbs

Method

Begin by pouring 150 ml of coconut milk into a saucepan, then add 2 teabags of Earl Grey and a strip of orange peel. Bring this mixture to a boil and then remove it from the heat. Allow it to infuse for 5-7 minutes before draining and discarding the orange peel and tea bags. Pour the infused milk back into the saucepan and bring it to a boil once again. Then, pour the hot infused milk over 220 g of dark chocolate drops and let it sit for a minute. Stir until you have a smooth chocolate paste. Cover this mixture and place it in the refrigerator for 45 minutes. After chilling, scoop the truffle mixture with a teaspoon and shape it into round balls. Roll each truffle in dark cocoa powder, chopped hazelnuts, or biscuit crumbs for a delightful finish. Store the truffles in the fridge and serve them chilled for a delicious treat.
