Ginger tea with lemon and honey

What a delightful and soothing tea! Ginger, honey and lemon are a wonderful combination.
Drinking lemon ginger tea every morning is a great way to wake up every morning. But did you know that this tea does more than just refresh you? Not only is it super easy to prepare, it can also have actual health benefits – like curing nausea, headache, and the common cold.

Ingredients:

  • 1 l water
  • 3 tablespoons of peeled and freshly grated ginger
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 30 ml of lemon juice

Method:

Peel the ginger root with a peeler and grate it. Bring the water to a boil, add ginger into the boiling water and cook it for 10 minutes on low heat. If you’d like the tea to have a milder taste, simply put the ginger into the boiling water and turn off the heat. Let it steep for about 10 minutes.
After the tea has cooled down a bit, add the honey and lemon juice.
