How to have a stress-free Easter feast

Smiling mom and two daughters enjoying while decorating easter eggs

Easter is either the time for three F’s (feasting, family, and fun) or the three S’s (stress, struggle, and strenuousness), whether you’re hosting a big dinner or just want to whip up a festive meal for your loved ones. Besides cooking, you also have to take care of cleaning up your home, organize an egg hunt for the kids, decide on a menu, shop for all the ingredients, and then work your bunny tail off to prepare a delicious meal everyone at the table will enjoy. Gorenje’s here to save the (Easter) day. For the three F’s, all you need is one O – an OptiBake oven. Want to know why? Grab your bunny ears and let’s hop to it.

1. The feast

Baking can be a real pain in the buns! Especially, if you’re a beginner. Once you’ve chosen what to make, you still have to choose the right program for the job, constantly adjust temperatures, keep an eye on the clock, and cross your fingers that what you put inside the oven will come out just right. Now, Ovens with AutoBake will do all that for you. All there’s left on your to-do-list is to put the dish inside the oven, input the weight, press Start, and take it out when it’s done.

AutoBake is a feature of Gorenje OptiBake ovens that features fully automatic cooking programs with 22 most popular recipes to choose from. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or a kitchen novice, AutoBake programs are fail-safe and deliver perfect results every time. The programs are specifically designed to bake different types of foods to perfection, ensuring less stress for you and more time to enjoy the delicious fruits of your labor. And psst, between us, you don’t have to tell the guests the oven has AutoBake and take all the credit for the feast yourself, we won’t tell. See why AutoBake, in ovens like BC6717E02X, is really like Easter treasure.

2. Fun and family

Now that the first F is under control, let’s tackle the other two – family and fun. Let’s be honest, those two sometimes don’t go together well and your family members, although you love them unconditionally, can quickly turn into unwanted guests. Here are some tips that will make everybody smile.

  • Have an egg decorating contest. Set out different craft supplies like glitter, stickers, and googly eyes and see who can make the most creative egg. You can then give the winner a prize – a giant chocolate bunny, for example.
  • Dress up like easter Bunnies. Watching your family members hop around your home dressed like bunnies is guaranteed to make you remember this Easter forever. If they are too shy, at least they could all wear some DIY Easter bunny ears or tails. If you have a garden, you can even create an obstacle course, using things like hula hoops, cones, and jump ropes and bunny with the fastest time to complete the course wins.
  • Watch an Easter-themed movie, like Peter Rabbit.
  • Play charades. Write down Easter-themed words and phrases on pieces of paper and put them in a bowl. Each family member takes turns drawing a piece of paper and has to act out the word or phrase without speaking while the others guess. Hilarious moments guaranteed!”

On Easter, like on any other holiday, the expectations are there. A clean house, a perfectly set dinner table, delicious food, a house full of relatives and friends, and good times. These can all create feelings of anxiety and panic. But they don’t have to. Remember what the celebration is really about – family, spring, hope, and renewal. The perfect time to become a new you – a skillful chef that makes the best meals without stress. Happy baking and happy Easter!
