Cool clothes, cool summer

Sunny summer days are just calling us to spend as much time as possible outdoors. But how do you stay cool in the heat? It all depends on the fabrics you wear.
Cotton: The most widely used natural fiber cloth. It’s a soft, moisture-absorbing and breathable textile, allowing air to circulate, so it’s just the right pick for the coming summer. To top it all, it dries fast and is anti-allergic.
Linen: Clothes made of linen are highly breathable and absorbent. It’s only downside is that it wrinkles easily, so it’s not very appropriate for formal occasions.
Silk: Less breathable than cotton and linen but still a perfect choice for dressed-up summer occasions. Just keep in mind to stay away from clothes made of heavy silk.
Viscose: Some say that viscose is good for the summer, while others don’t like it due to its synthetic nature. No matter your choice, it is a soft, smooth and comfortable fabric, which drapes nicely.
Stay away from: Synthetic fabrics, such as polyester and nylon. Don’t go for fabrics that are water-repellant and will turn you into a puddle of sweat in the summer heat.
