Five reasons why size matters

When it comes to kitchen appliances, the size of an induction hob matters. While smaller hobs may be suitable for some situations, there are more advantages to having the new 23 cm BigZone induction hob from Gorenje. Here are 5 reasons why.

Reason 1: Easier cooking

Ever felt restricted by the limitations of conventional induction hobs? We hear you! Those tiny 145 mms and 210 mm zones on most hobs just won’t cut it for your larger-than-life pans. And let’s not even get started on the awkward placement of that bigger zone, hiding away on the left side or in the back.

We’ve done our homework and discovered that the most commonly used pot and pan sizes are 230 and 240 mm, so it’s clear that the existing zones aren’t fully supporting us home cooks, so we decided to create the game-changing BigZone induction hob! With its spacious 230 mm zone, it’s a dream come true for larger pans. We’ve also placed it right at the front for ultimate convenience, especially for our right-handed culinary maestros (no hard feelings, lefties, you’re just a rare gem). And that’s not all—the rest of the zones are thoughtfully positioned to match your most common cooking needs.

Reason 2: Safety

By strategically placing the 230 mm zone at the front and reserving the 145 mm zone for smaller pots in the back, we’ve achieved an important bonus—enhanced child safety. Picture this: you can finally breathe easy, knowing that the risk of a curious child accidentally toppling a heavier pot is significantly reduced. It’s all about providing you with the peace of mind you deserve while you whip up delicious meals in the heart of your home. So go ahead, cook with confidence, and keep your little ones safe.

Reason 3: Time-saving

With the current induction hob, you can’t set the power levels of the zones separately. This has made cooking more time-consuming when you needed to prepare multiple dishes simultaneously.

The new user interface allows you to control each zone directly with a simple touch of a button. You simply choose the desired zone and set the appropriate power level, making cooking more efficient and time-saving.

Reason 4: User-friendly control

With the current induction hob, the timer is a hidden function and fairly complicated to set. Our customers complained that they needed to read the user manual and use two fingers to start the timer which is displayed in the same place as the power level. At Gorenje, we listened and made the necessary improvements.

On the BigZone induction hob, the timer is separated from the power levels. This makes it much easier to set and use, and you always have a clear overview of the cooking time or the countdown. Enhanced control empowers you to have a more precise and enjoyable cooking process.

Reason 5: Superior culinary results

The new 23 cm BigZone on Gorenje hobs perfectly fits the most commonly used pot sizes, thus preventing colder spots on the pot or pan. This ensures even heat distribution which in turn makes dishes cooked evenly and have greater taste.

Any of these five reasons is reason enough to opt for the new Gorenje 23 cm induction hobs. But all the reasons combined – irresistible.
