Well, here\u2019s something worth sharing: Company Gorenje, part of Hisense Europe, was just awarded the EcoVadis platinum medal<\/strong>, the world\u2019s most trusted sustainability rating platform. That puts us in the top 1% of companies globally<\/strong> when it comes to responsible business practices.<\/p>\n And we\u2019re not telling you this to brag (okay, maybe just a little) \u2013 we\u2019re sharing it because it matters. To us. And maybe to you, too.<\/p>\n Think of EcoVadis as the Michelin guide for sustainability. It doesn\u2019t hand out stars for fancy food, but it does rate companies on how well they treat the planet, their people, and their communities. Over 150,000 companies are assessed, and only a tiny fraction make it to the top.<\/p>\n Gorenje got there thanks to years of hard work: reducing energy use, improving working conditions, making products that last longer, and being transparent about it all. It\u2019s not about one-time campaigns \u2013 it\u2019s about building a better way of doing business, every single day.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve been on this journey for a while. Silver medals in 2023 and 2024 were great \u2013 but we knew we could do more. So, we did. We strengthened our sustainability strategy, verified our reporting, and earned certifications like ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 50001 (energy), and SA8000 (social responsibility). We even joined the UN Global Compact.<\/p>\n And yes, we beat some of the biggest names in the industry. But more importantly, we proved to ourselves \u2013 and to you \u2013 that we\u2019re serious about this.<\/p>\n Because the choices you make \u2013 what you buy, who you support \u2013 have power.
