\nTo sanitize your towels, use \u00be cup of bleach for your white towels or \u00be cup of colour-safe bleach for coloured towels. If your washing machine doesn\u2019t have a bleach dispenser, mix \u00bc of water to the bleach, adding the mixture 5 minutes into your washing cycle, be careful as using too much bleach can damage your towels, leaving them yellow and brittle.<\/p>\n
Clothes as well as towels spread germs, when being washed bacteria can spread between items. Any items that have been worn during illness should be washed at 60C, using the high heat or sanitize setting on your tumble dryer is a great way to finish off the process.<\/p>\n
