The emphasis on customer’s rights<\/h3>\n
In addition to the updated energy label, European Union has also adopted new rules regarding ecodesign that came into force on the 1st of March as well. From now on, the manufacturers or the importers are obliged to provide spare parts to professional repairers at least 7-10 years after the last unit of a model has been placed on the EU market. They also need to make certain of these pieces available to end-users several years after a product is taken off the market.<\/p>\n
